-
April 20, 2026-April 22, 2026
The Hague, The Netherlands
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Working Party on the Safety of Novel Foods and Feeds (WP-SNFF) works on technical issues related to the food safety of novel foods and feeds, including the products of agricultural biotechnology. Work products, such as crop composition documents, are developed by the group and finalized through a consensus process. The group involves OECD member countries, observer countries, as well as recognized observer organizations–including the Agriculture & Food Systems Institute (AFSI).
This year’s meeting of the WP-SNFF will take place in The Hague, the Netherlands, on April 20-22, 2026. Drs. Andrew Roberts and Bhavneet Bajaj, representing AFSI, will attend the meeting and, in particular, contribute to discussions around the WP-HROB and WP-SNFF joint project on “Moving Towards ‘Safe(r) Innovation Approach’ in the Context of Modern Biotechnology.”
