    April 19, 2015-April 21, 2015
    Paris, France

The Working Group on Harmonisation of Regulatory Oversight in Biotechnology is held under the auspices of the Joint Meeting of the Chemicals Committee and Working Party on Chemicals, Pesticides and Biotechnology (Environment Directorate). The group works on technical issues related to the environmental risk/safety assessment of organisms that are produced through modern biotechnology. Work products, such as the plant biology documents which form the baseline for comparative assessments, are developed by the group and finalized through a consensus process. The group involves OECD member countries, observer countries as well as recognized observer organization – including the Agriculture & Food Systems Institute.
