Manager, Scientific Programs Agriculture & Food Systems Institute (AFSI)

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Task Force on the Safety of Novel Foods and Feeds (WG-SNFF) works on technical issues related to the food safety of novel foods and feeds, including the products of agricultural biotechnology. Work products, such as crop composition documents, are developed by the group and finalized through a consensus process. The group involves OECD member countries, observer countries as well as recognized observer organizations–including the Agriculture & Food Systems Institute.

This year’s meeting of the WG-SNFF took place in Paris, France, on May 16-18, 2022 in a hybrid format. During the meeting, Dr. Bhavneet Bajaj delivered a presentation on the Crop Composition Database.
