The aims of the First International Conference on Global Food Security were to:

  • To discuss interdisciplinary grand challenges in the context of global food security with a multi-disciplinary group of scientists
  • Define conclusions, research questions, or propositions to provide input for the synthesis session and subsequent synthesis document
