The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications  (ISAAA), University of São Paulo (USP), and the Agriculture & Food Systems Institute (AFSI) hosted the Fourth International Workshop on Regulatory Approaches for Agricultural Applications of Animal Biotechnologies, which took place in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12-16, 2022. Dr. Andrew Roberts led a hands-on exercise on problem formulation during the final day of the workshop.
